Drainage Systems

At Basement Pros, we believe in providing our customers with the highest quality workmanship and the most affordable pricing in the industry. As a result, we are proud to offer a lifetime service guarantee*. Our warranty provides free labor and material replacement for the entire duration of home ownership, transferable to any new owner of your home as well. This warranty protects against water seepage through the floor, cove, and wall area wherever our subfloor dual pressure relief system is installed.

Your primary sump pump also carries a 3 year full replacement warranty. In the event that it fails for any reason whatsoever, simply call us and we will come replace your broken sump pump for a brand new one at no charge.

The Process

When installing the DPR Drainage System, the basement floor is opened up an average 14-16 inches from the wall, loose concrete is removed, and the drainage trench is dug alongside the footing. All debris are hauled away to a concrete recycling plant. If there are any obstructions present, such as a hot water heater or furnace, that section of the floor is left intact below to eliminate having to temporarily remove obstructions, saving you time and money!

Cinder Block is very porous and can hold 2-3x its weight in water. Weep holes are drilled into each hollow core of the first block to release any water pressure in the wall cavities and allow the block wall to dry out. Finally, corrosion-resistant corrugated perforated drain tile is installed allowing water to flow to the sump pit for collection where it is them pumped out of your home.

Corrugated drain tiles meet the requirements of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Association of State and Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), as well as FHA and BOCA.

What you are left with is a complete system that includes an industry-leading dual drain board and vapor barrier to protect your walls from moisture, mold, and mildew, as well as proper filtration systems in place to prevent system clogging and water build-up. We have personally used this system for more than 30 years, our work speaks for itself!
